Omg.....the holidays have started and I am free from school at last!....well not exactly so. I have to go back to school for my CCA, ncc, journalist course and an IT workshop... I also have December holiday homework! I can't believe it...I have never heard of December holiday homework before...hehe=) We have to read 3 recommended books and do a task for each one. We also have to read newspaper articles and do some stuff about it. We also have Mathematics assessment papers to complete....and there is like 60 pages of questions! With tons of homework, I have to reschedule my plans a bit....less going out with friends and so on. Anyway, I feel that the school was quite smart in doing this. I feel that the homework keeps us occupied and kills time. We can also practise and revise for next year...Sec 2. Oh ya...talking about school. I got second in class for my overall examinations!Unfortunately, I lost to the first person in class by 4 marks....haha=) Its a pity but my father said that I should be contented with my results and know that I have done my best. Well, other than that, my form teacher will be transferring to another school next year. She is certainly a wonderful teacher and I know that we will all miss her. My form teacher is one who is really forgiving and patient. Although we keep on making her angry, she forgives us and tells us in a nice tone that we should realise our mistake and repent. I will never forget the love she has showered on us and the things she had done for me. I hope she would have a good life ahead of her. I am now reading a book called The Alchemist.Written by Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist is an inspiring book that talks about living our dreams and not giving up in spite of facing challenging obstacles. As it is said, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. All of you out there should read the book.....seriously. About the party at Daniel's house that Sunday...it was a blast! We swam, played board games and played with balloons. It's amazing how fun can spring up just by playing with balloons!lol...We had pizza for dinner and chocolate cake from four seasons as the birthday cake. It was seriously delicious! Four Seasons cake definitely rocks! Anyway, we had a great time of fellowship....
Just this week, my great grandmother passed away and we went to her funeral. Greatgrandma died from old age and I am feeling really sad.....we visit her only once a year-during Chinese new year-and she treats us really good. I know that God will protect her...and we will definitely miss her.....tats all I have to say...Happy Holidays!
